What is Authenticated Certificate?

Defines an authenticated certificate and its components
It refers to electronic certificate that is issued by government appointed certificate authority (CA).
It contains electronic information on the entity it belongs to, the entity it was issued by, public key which is electronically signed by a trusted third party.
Authenticated Certificate ensures the personal identities of transaction parties and prevents people from tampering the documents and denying transaction history.

The components of the authenticated certificate are as follows.

Serial number serial number of the certificate
Issuer’s ID  identity of the authenticated CA(Certification Authority)
Valid period starting and ending dates of the validity period of the certificate
Subscriber’s ID  identification of an subscriber including one’s name
Public key  public key of the subscriber
